Windows and Office activation: compatibility
The MAS documentation lists the PowerShell method for Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Windows 11. Office compatibility depends on the installed product and activation method; do not assume every edition is supported.
MAS includes HWID, Ohook, TSforge and Online KMS methods, plus activation-status checks and troubleshooting. Consult the MAS compatibility and activation-method documentation for current requirements rather than choosing a method by name alone.

Is Microsoft Activation Scripts an official Microsoft tool?
No. MAS is a third-party open-source project. OnlyCyber provides this reference and is not Microsoft or the MAS developer.
Does activation give me a Windows or Office license?
No. Activation and licensing are different. You still need appropriate licensing and must follow the applicable software terms. This page does not offer product keys or guarantee activation.
What does the PowerShell command do?
irm is an alias for Invoke-RestMethod, which retrieves the remote script; iex is an alias for Invoke-Expression, which executes it. Copying the command does not execute it. Running it places trust in the remote source, so review that source first.
What if Windows or Office activation fails?
Check your installed edition, license and activation status first. For MAS-specific errors, consult the MAS troubleshooting documentation and project FAQ. For a purchased license, contact Microsoft or the seller; do not assume a script is the right fix.
